You have come here to find popular hashtags that fit your content, right?
Well, this tool is intended to help you find these.
All you have to do, is search in the search bar above for a phrase of your content. Let's say you want to find suitable hashtags for writing about your SEO content.
Type in "SEO" and the tool will show you all the hashtags that contain the word "SEO".
By default, all the results will be sorted by the amount of followers a hashtag has.
That means the hashtags with the most followers will display on top. Scroll down or click to the next page to view more hashtags.
A common question is how hashtags are typically used on LinkedIn. Unlike on Twitter, hashtags are not as frequently used on LinkedIn.
Many people just don't know how to deal with them.
Questions over questions. Well.. to clarify a few things here:
There is no general rule for how to use hashtags on LinkedIn, BUT... LinkedIn itself states a few things you may have heard from:
Personally, I found that this works quite well for my content. With the help of inlytics, we have even done more in-depth research about this topic and published an article that you may want to read.
The list we have put together is updated from time to time (by hand) and includes a lot of public and frequently used hashtags.
Of course, we cannot display every single hashtag on LinkedIn with this tool.
A more up-to-date version of this will be launched soon within inlytics itself. We even plan a real hashtag analytics tool for this purpose. If you want to get notified, signup for one of our plans, and don't miss out on any updates.
You can use this tool also for generating new ideas about hashtags you don't yet know about. For example, you can search for terms and generate new ideas.
One question would be: How do I know if a hashtag is relevant for me?
I'd say the easiest way to find out is by searching the hashtag on LinkedIn. You will find what people use this hashtag for and may get an idea of which kind of people follow this hashtag.
Remember: You do not only want people to find your content but also be as relevant as possible.
At the end of the day, your content performance will depend on the amount of engagement your post gets (reactions and mainly comments).
inlytics offers you a comprehensive LinkedIn Analytics Dashboard to improve content performance.

If you want to double-check the amount of followers a certain hashtag has you can type it in the search in LinkedIn (here is a screenshot of how to do that).
LinkedIn will now display you how many followers a hashtag has right at the moment. This option is great if you want to research one specific hashtag.
If you want to get inspiration, generate more hashtags, and find similar ones use this tool.
It's not that easy to find out what kind of hashtag is trending on LinkedIn.
Take for example #clubhouse or #tiktok at some point. Everybody was using this hashtag on LinkedIn.
In our list above we don't show trending lines as this information will only be available in our Paid plans (we are working on it).
However, you can get an idea about what content topic, aka. hashtag is trending on LinkedIn by using Google Trends.
This will give you an idea of what topics go through the roof at the moment.
Use this LinkedIn hashtag tool to research and find hashtags that fit these topics.
Like you can see this tool is operated and provided by inlytics, a LinkedIn Analytics Tool for Personal Profiles.
You may also want to check out our other tools like the Engagement Rate Calculator or even our Free or Paid Plan.
With inlytics, you can analyze your LinkedIn content in no time. The tool provides you with a comprehensive dashboard that aggregates your data in one place.
We focus on generating insights that you can use to improve your content performance.
I answer the questions that you may still have
We update this list when we find time to do so. To see when a hashtag's follower count has been overwritten, look on the right side of the hashtag list. You will see a grey date that shows when this individual hashtag has been updated the last time.
Sure. This is the one intention behind this hashtag list. Just note the blue numbers count on the right side of the hashtag list. It will show you the amount of followers this specific hashtag has on LinkedIn.
You can't. This list will only show you the amount of followers a hashtag has and also generate new hashtag ideas for you. But you won't be able to filter for trending topics.
LinkedIn's official statements tell users to use no more than 3 individual hashtags per post. I found that to work quite well. More Insights about this topic can be found here: https://www.inlytics.io/post/linkedin-hashtag-guide
Definitely no. Otherwise, the hashtag won't work.
When you use the official LinkedIn search you can also type in hashtags. You will then see how many followers this individual hashtag has.
